When I get enquires about booking a shoot, I can’t tell you the amount of times I hear “I don’t think I’ll look like the other women in the pictures”… what I say is “YES, you can!!”
I’m writing this blog because I’ve come to understand that some of the images on my website can appear a bit intimidating and leave some women with the impression that my photoshoots are not for them. I want to show every woman that you don’t have to be a young, professional model with a ‘society-approved’ body to look stunning in your boudoir photos. You will look amazing in the perfect poses, camera angles, lighting and correctly fitting underwear to compliment your shape!!
My style is to photograph you as naturally as possible. I will direct you in each pose, right down to your last fingertip. I don’t use Photoshop to alter my clients’ bodies, I set up my lighting and direct poses that highlight and showcase each woman’s natural shape and beauty. Using good lighting, poses and camera angles are not tricks, they just capture how you look in real life and how I see you through the lens. This gets the most out of your shape, it also sets the mood for the photo shoot.
I want to help you celebrate your body – it’s the most valuable thing you own and it allows you to do so many amazing things throughout your life! I want you to leave the studio feeling proud of your shape and size, with a collection of photographs that you will cherish forever.
Here are some examples of how powerful great posing, lighting and camera angles can be to take flattering photographs that will accentuate all of your best assets.
Although I won’t use Photoshop to edit the shape of your body, I do use it to correct and enhance the appearance of your skin and remove any blemishes that are not permanent such as spots, bruises or dark circles. So don’t worry about waking up with a few zits on the morning of your photo shoot, you’ll still look amazing in your pictures! I can also soften the appearance of stretch marks, scars or cellulite if you would like but the level of this is completely up to you – it’s all about presenting the real you in the best way possible.
